2020欧洲杯时间The safe handling, use and transportation of our products lie in the hands of competent specialists. These experts assess our products on the basis of their bio- and eco-toxicological properties and their physico-chemical properties and derive the appropriate measures within the applicable legal framework. A prerequisite of successful product launches in today's demanding markets is the on-deadline compliance with all statutory requirements like notification, registration, labeling and dissemination of material safety data sheets. Comprehensive and timely information for internal and external customers and for the authorities is a business condition.
REACH - the European Chemicals Policy
REACH is the European Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals.
Lonza Specialty Ingredients has successfully registered all substances imported, manufactured and marketed in the European Union under REACH by the deadline in May 2018. REACH is an ongoing effort, and we will continue to strive to comply with its requirements.
2020欧洲杯时间Biocides are a widely diversified range of products that are used to destroy or control harmful organisms, including bacteria, fungi, viruses and insects. In many countries, biocides and products containing biocides may only be sold after being registered with and approved by the competent authority.
We have obtained all necessary local registrations and approvals for our products and their ingredients, and we ensure that required approval processes for new products are launched on time. Our experts assess toxicology, efficacy and data records for protecting the environment, carry out risk assessments and create dossiers for submission to the regulatory authorities.
Global product strategy
2020欧洲杯时间The International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) launched the Global Product Strategy (GPS) in 2006 to enhance the proper handling of chemicals throughout lifecycle and make the relevant safety information accessible to all in the form of safety summaries. These contain basic information for safe handling of chemical products, in a general, understandable language. For more information on GPS, please refer to the ICCA website and to the GPS Chemicals Portal.
